After struggling with maneuvering a twin size quilt on a standard machine, I saw the potential in a Longarm quilting machine after touring the Gammill factory while on vacation in July 2000. Decor Quilting was born in August with the purchase of a Gammill quilting machine. At the time, I had three young children. Quilting allowed me to work around their schedules and do something I enjoyed while earning a little money. My goal was to have a viable business by the time the youngest one went to school. By the time my youngest started kindergarten, it was a relief to have more time as the business was beginning to be very demanding.”
